Challenger Homes was started in 2000 by Brian and Heather Bahr out of their family garage and has since grown into one of Colorado Springs’ most noteworthy and best-selling homebuilders through adherence to strong core values, high character, and hard work.
In 2007, Brian and Heather Bahr decided to expand their focus to include land development and commercial construction. In August 2017, The Challenger Group sold 49.9% of Challenger Homes to Green Brick Partners (GRBK) and the commercial group was rebranded as Goodwin Knight LLC.
Key Structures LLC was formed in 2018 as a subsidiary of The Challenger Group with the purpose of building off-site components for the construction of homes, apartments and townhomes. Key Structures remains a subsidiary of The Challenger Group with a firm commitment to the vision of
